Edare's critial testing and validation enables production and performance goals
The HGU-99/P helmet system employs a multi-layered passive hearing protection design that significantly enhances performance compared to earlier-generation systems. Along with high-attenuation earplugs and precision-engineered ear cups, the helmet incorporates an acoustically isolating outer shell that also delivers robust impact protection. Designed for aircraft maintenance crews and shipboard flight deck personnel, it helps protect hearing while maintaining clear situational awareness and face-to-face communication. Integrated electronic ambient-sound technology allows users to perceive their surroundings naturally while keeping exposure within safe limits. The system connects seamlessly with deck radios, ship communication lines, and aircraft intercom networks, enabling crews to stay alert and protected at all times.
Through advanced in-house production and rigorous performance testing, Edare ensures each unit meets the reliability, safety, and quality standards required for deployment with Navy flight deck teams.
